LoPresti Aviation's next First Saturday of the Month Fly-in Event will be held Saturday, Sept 5th at their new facility in Sebastian only a short drive south from Melbourne. Their guest speaker, Wayne Boggs, of Air Boss Consulting will hold court at their monthly event & charity breakfast which should prove to be very entertaining. This Air Boss has seen it all and has some very interesting stories to tell.
Wayne Boggs history is one totally immersed in flight. His mother served as a WASP in WW II (Women's Auxiliary Service Pilot) and his devotion to aviation grew from there. Ten years in the Marine Corp followed by 40 years with the FAA; Wayne worked at Chicago's O'Haire Air Terminal in air Traffic Control and taught at the FAA Academy. He also served as the Chief of Staff for the Air Traffic Systems Requirements Directorate in Washington, DC. For many years, Wayne worked as the controller for some of the largest air shows in the East and eventually made it his new full time career as an Air Show Boss. Not only is he the Boss in control of all of the tactical maneuvers in the show and making sure everyone stays safe in the air and on the ground, but he is also The VOICE and the energy of the shows. Join Wayne Boggs and LoPresti Aviation at their new headquarters for an exciting event to benefit Multiple Sclerosis.
The full breakfast buffet begins at 9 am with steaming hot cups of coffee and everything from pancakes, eggs, & bacon to fresh fruits and delicious muffins. Breakfast is followed by Bogg's presentation at 10-11:30 a.m. This month's event will benefit Wayne's personal charity choice, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mid-Florida Chapter. (A $5 donation is requested.) And don't forget to view the LoPresti Fury while you are thereare the tarmac at the Sebastian location.
