This blog is about the many people, places, things and events of the Comic, Gaming and Collectable community. “Capt.” Joel Kilmer is a native and life long resident of Saint Lucie County. With a love of comics, magic, herpetology (reptiles) and horticulture (bromeliads) “Capt” Joel is always doing something in the community. Big Dog Comics is the largest comic, gaming and collectable shop on the Treasure Coast and has been serving the community for over 23 years. We are active in supporting positive youth activities and community charities.

Official Pokémon Tournament play returns to the treasure coast.

Sponsored by Big Dog Comics and run by Pokémon Florida this free event is scheduled for Sunday January 6th in the Days Inn conference room at 3224 S. U.S. 1 in Fort Pierce. That is just two miles north of Big Dog Comics, and just south of Edwards Road on the East side of US 1.

Registration is from 10:30 - 11:30 am (you must arrive during this time to enter the event without receiving a game loss for round 1) and play will start promptly afterwards. The tournament format is modified constructed and the price to play is FREE.
