ARTIST & COMIC CHARACTER REUNITED AFTER 27 YEARS!

Comic Book artist, Alex Saviuk was reunited with Collector's Comics owner, Keith Mallow after 27 years.

Alex, along with comic book writer Bob Rozakis, created "Mallo-Keeper of Cosmic Balance", modeled after comic shop owner Keith Mallow!

Rozakis said that the reason he dropped the "w" from the last name was to make it appear more cosmic!
The "Mallo" character appeared in a two part story-Action Comics #515 & DC Comics Presents #30.

When the comic books came out, there was a huge autograph party at the comic shop. Bob Rozakis, writer, Alex Saviuk, artist, Len Wein (co-creator of The New X-Men and Swamp Thing) and Marv Wolfman (co-creator of New Teen Titans & Creator of Blade-Vampire Hunter) all were in attendance to sign autographs!

The years passed and each moved to different areas of the country, and lost touch.
Twenty-Seven Years Later, after re-uniting at a comic convention, Alex Saviuk made an appearance at Collector's Comics!

Alex and Keith Posed for photos, holding the original art, as well as the printed comic!

It was absolutely terrific to recall the wonderful times that were shared and to re-visit "Mallo-Keeper of Cosmic Balance"!
