LEGACY DANCE TEAM PRESENTS... BRING A FRIEND DAY & FREE HIP HOP CLASS! LAST CHANCE TO DANCE ! Legacy Dance Team is an award winning performing and competitive All-Star dance team. We specialize in Hip hop, Jazz and Fusion as well as study other styles of dance. Besides doing multiple State & National competitions throughout the season, Legacy performs in local shows around the city, some shows in other nearby cities as well as a performance for a professionalNBA Miami Heat game. Legacy's titles include: 2006 Starz of the Future Teen Dance Winners, and 2006 State & National All-Star Champions! Join our free Hip Hop class & Bring a Freind Day! We are looking for high energy female & male dancers that love to perform & compete. Dance experience is a plus but not required. When: Saturday, August 26, 2006. Time: 1:30pm-4:00pm (you will be taught a combination) Ages: 12-18 yrs (You can not turn 19 yrs. until April 2007) Where: Kaizen Karate School, Located in Lakeside Center- 261 S.E. Dancers Wanted! Auditions for Legacy Dance Team!

Auditions for PSL's Legacy's 2007/2008 season will be held over the summer. They are looking for high energy female & male dancers ages 11-18 yrs old that love to perform & compete. Dance experience is a plus but not required.
"There are plenty of people who are natural dancers that haven't had any formal training, but they are some of the best dancers at the party! We want auditioners from all dance levels that have the love and desire for dance and are ready to work up to their next level." says director Dawn Nabors.
Auditioners will be taught an original Legacy dance combination that they will be performing for their audition. Mrs. Dawn adds; "We are looking for how well dancers can pick up our choreography as well as the dancers potential, energy, personality, good attitude, showmanship, and heart. Heart and potential are the biggest things for me. If I see a dancer that is really trying hard and wants it so bad, I know I can work with someone like that because I know they will give me 110%." There is no need to bring an audition dance piece with you unless you would like to perform something to showcase your talent as a bonus, but not necessary.

Besides doing multiple State & National competitions throughout the season, Legacy performs in numerous local shows around the city of PSL, some shows in other nearby cities as well as an annual performance for a professional NBA Miami Heat game. Legacy's titles include: 2006 Starz of the Future Teen Dance Winners, 2007 MA Super Sweepstakes Winners, 2006 & 2007 FDTDA State All-Star Champions, 2006 & 2007 Orlando's Champion Dance Nationals All-Star Champions, 2007 FDTDA 2 Judges Favorite Awards and 2007 BET's Spring Bling Finalists!

Audtition info...
When: Saturday, June 23, 2007 and Saturday, July 21, 2007.
*June auditioners have double the chance! Dancers that are not accepted in June can get call backs for July.
Time: 1:30pm-6:00pm
Ages: 11yrs-18 yrs, Girls & Boys. (Dancer cannot turn 19 yrs. until mid March 2008)
Where: Kaizen Leadership Karate, Located in Lakeside Center- 261 S.E. Port St. Lucie Blvd. (off Airoso)
What to wear: Dance, athletic, or workout clothes are fine. Sofee/cheer short shorts must have tights underneath and no excessive baggy clothing allowed. Wear socks, you will be dancing on mats- no shoes.
What to bring: Drinks & snacks (and/or money to purchase some) and signed permission form.

*Parents will need to sign a permission form for dancers to be able to audition. Parents can come on the audition day or you can contact Director Dawn Nabors @ 561-965-2119 or 561-329-6289 to receive one in the mail.
*Dancers who make the team will have to attend a week of mandatory team camp Monday-Friday on July 30, 2007 thru August 3, 2007 where dancers will learn their first routine and bond as a team. Legacy's new season will start on Saturday, August 4th and every Saturday thereafter. Any questions, please call Dawn Nabors.
