What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we announce the 10 year Anniversary Michael's Message Golf Tournament 2008. Please join us for all of the fun and excitement, which will include the following: ? Karate Demonstration by Vero Beach Karate Association ? Local Dignitaries ? Sheriff Ken Mascara has pledged to be auctioned to the three highest bidders to make a foursome the day of the tournament. Michael's Message, Inc. "A Drug Awareness Program", a local non-profit organization we founded shortly after our son Michael died of a drug overdose in 1998. The organization is dedicated to educating our youth and the public about Designer Drugs - the Date Rape Drug GHB (Gamma Hydroxybutyrate) as well as prescription drugs and other illicit substances through prevention and awareness to prevent what happened to him from happening to others. Education is considered by many to be the key to prevention. Knowledge is power! Since March of 2000 we have shared Michael's Message with just over 500,000 students, parents, and educators throughout Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming. Many young people have been touched by Michael's story, most of who have vowed to exclude drug use from their lives. Together we can make our Golf Tournament the finest of its kind in the country.
