A musician since the age of eight, Zach Schwartz will be showcasing the Zach Schwartz Quintet at the Cuillo Centre for the Arts Friday September 5 th and Saturday September 6 th in the intimate SecondStoryTheatre.
The Zach Schwartz Quintet plays classic Jazz, specifically Be Bop, Post Bop and Hard Bop. Zach's tenor saxophone sound has been primarily influenced by such greats as Stan Getz, Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins, Hank Mobley, and John Coltrane. Zach is also an accomplished recording producer and is the owner of On Site Recording Productions, with his newest location right here in West Palm Beach. He is also a twelve year veteran of the International Association for Jazz Education conferences and events.
The other members making up the Quintet are Dave Gibble, on trumpet, is a music professor at PBCC and leader of the popular Tuesday Night Big Band. Dolph Castellano, on piano is a Be Bop master in high demand. Rounding out the band is Karl Ott on drums and Dave Tomasello on bass, both consummate professionals and veterans in their own right.
