SOUTH HUTCHINSON ISLAND - St. Lucie County's Parks and Recreation Department has temporarily closed the Waveland Beach access as repairs are being made to the boardwalk and restroom facilities.
The beach access is expected to reopen Friday, Oct. 24.
Located at 10350 South A1A, Waveland Beach is St. Lucie County's southern most public beach access.
