Fort Pierce Sunrise Kiwanis Awards $1,000

On April 8, 2008, at the St. Lucie County School Board meeting, Fort Pierce Sunrise Kiwanis Club awarded $1,000 to four schools in celebration of Dr. Seuss's Birthday. These funds will be used to purchase books for the media center at each of the schools. Congratulations to Frances K. Sweet Magnet, Fairlawn Elementary, Lawnwood Elementary and Allapattah Flats K-8.
