With one convenient visit to the nearest Indian River State College campus on Saturday, August 16, area residents can register for the Fall 2008 Semester and take advantage of a wide range of student services. "Special Saturday Registration at IRSC" will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at IRSC campuses in Fort Pierce, Stuart, Vero Beach, Okeechobee and St. Lucie West.

At "Special Saturday Registration" individuals interested in continuing their education will be able to apply for admission, meet with an advisor, register and pay for classes, take the college placement exam, apply for scholarships and financial aid, obtain student activities information and receive a parking decal, and more, at all IRSC campuses. Information will be provided on over 100 IRSC's programs for university transfer and career training, as well as nine Bachelor's Degree programs in nursing, education, and organizational management. Books may be purchased at the IRSC Main Campus in Fort Pierce.

Fall classes will begin Monday, August 25 and the last day to register without a late fee is Thursday, August 21.
