LPA MUSIC PROGRAM WILL BE ON THEIR WAY TO
THE BIG APPLE WIH YOUR HELP!
The Lincoln Park Academy Music Program needs your help! The students have had the distinguished honor of being invited to perform at the Lincoln Center in New York City this coming March and we look forward to proudly representing St. Lucie County.
The Lincoln Park Academy Music Program has had the distinction of being a State Music Demonstration School since 2002. This is a school whose music program is comprehensive in scope and outstanding in quality. It contributes to the overall excellence of the school environment, addresses the Sunshine State Standards for Music in exemplary ways, and promotes academic and aesthetic student achievement in music and other areas of the curriculum. LPA has been extremely successful; the band program has even most recently earned superior ratings at the District Music Performance Assessment. Because of the amazing skills these students have fine tuned, they have been invited to represent our Treasure Coast area in New York City!
Along with this achievement, comes financial responsibility of raising the money for this group to travel. Lincoln Park Academy's Music Program is still short $3,000 in their fundraising efforts. We ask your support with a tax deductible contribution by the March 15th deadline. As a sponsor, your logo will be included on our fundraising marketing materials and in our annual concert programs. We would appreciate your support of our young musicians as they endeavor to better their musical talents and educational pursuits!
Please feel free to contact Jason at 772-828-9704 or albertj@stlucie.k12.fl.or for more information or send checks to LPA NY City Band Trip, 1806 Ave. I, Fort Pierce, FL 34950.
