Abernethy Family Foundation Scholarhship

Through the St. Lucie County Education Foundation, the Abernethy Family Foundation provided $1,000 scholarships to Rebekah Howe and Christopher Vizcarrondo.

Rebekah Howe is a graduate of Lincoln Park Academy who will attend the University of South Florida. She has been barrel-racing horses for ten years, and she has held almost full-time jobs during high school.

Christopher Vizcarrondo is a graduate of Fort Pierce Central who has a 4.7 gpa. He already speaks English and Spanish, and he plans to major in Japanese at the University of Florida. He was president of the Multicultural Club.
