Contributed by: Erick Gill, SLC Media Relations on 10/6/2008

FORT PIERCE - The Fort Pierce Branch Library presents author Barbara Zaloon on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. - noon, as she discusses her latest book: "Memories of Hate, Love & Big Feet."

If you were a young woman, Earth born in the 31 st Century, who as a child was relocated to an alien planet in order to survive, what would your life be like? Zaloon's book is a story of our frailties and our humanity as seen through the eyes of this woman, and of the people, both human and alien, learning to live together and to understand each other.

This event is free and open to the public.

The Fort Pierce Branch of the St. Lucie County Library System is located at 101 Melody Lane. For more information, call (772) 462-2787.
