By Jeanne Johansen The Treasure Coast Art Association invites artists on the Treasure Coast and the public to the Pirates & Wenches Scary Art Festival on Saturday, October 31, 2009 starting at 3 PM at 223 Avenue A, Beautiful Downtown Fort Pierce. Cauldrons of wickedly delicious brew and scary art will make this a must stop for scary fun on the All Hallows Eve of October 31 at 223 Avenue A, in Beautiful Downtown Fort Pierce. Artists from all over the Treasure Coast are invited to bring their scary art to the Treasure Coast to be displayed during the event. The art will be on display for free during the event -- or as long as the artists can stand scaring others that day. Pirates and wenches are encouraged to attend, but no costume is necessary to enjoy this event. The event starts at 3 PM in the afternoon and continues until the witches and gobbles show up and scare away the pirates and wenches. There will be free drinks and scary nibbles. With a real dead head in the window's pirates chest, there is no telling who's likely to show up. Will TCAA have to call in Ghost Busters to clean up the mess? We'll just have to wait and see. The Public is invited to stop and enjoy this free event. For more information call Jeanne Johansen at 772-579-1529. For more art events visit www.treasurecoastartassociation.org. Happy haunting... The Treasure Coast Art Association is a non-profit organization formed in 1955 by A. E. Backus. TCAA's mission is to provide a studio space where individuals may work, learn, teach and improve their artist skills as well as a venue for artists to display their works.

Artists don't be afraid, come show off those terrible works you've hidden and enjoy the fun.
