The Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society are thrilled to announce the Know One Band, known for their Carnival style, will be providing entertainment at the Arts & Crafts Market from 10am to noon on Saturday, February 2nd.
The Mardi Gras celebration continues with the traditional Mardi Gras Parade winding through the streets of historic downtown Fort Pierce. This year "The Sheiks of Morocco from Busch Gardens Sea World, sponsored by Budweiser will open the parade at 2pm with several performances along the parade route. And of course it wouldn't be a Mardi Gras parade without out the beads! The parade will begin on 2nd street at Tummy Tickle Hill, to Orange Ave, to Indian River Drive; it will conclude at Fort Pierce City Marina Square where a huge celebration will continue until 11pm.
The community is invited to this free celebration featuring non-stop entertainment by Know One Band, Dixieland Band, Soul Rebel, Coffee Beans, Matrix, and Bobby & the Blisters. There will be many festival venders with delicious New Orleans and Caribbean cuisine and a special FPJ&BS Mardi Gras Booth. It is certain to be a fun-filled day for the whole family!
