The Ft. Pierce Exchange Club's Chili Cookoff will be held Friday, October 10th - 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 11th - 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds, 15601 West Midway Road Ft. Pierce, FL 34945
This 27th Annual event is a tradition for the entire Treasure Coast. Local businesses come together to show off their favorite recipes and oh yeah - compete in fundraising efforts, booth decoration, speed chili eating, stage performances, parade.... you name it!! This year's theme is "Under the Big Top" so you can expect to see plenty of booths with a circus twist and plenty of clowns for the kids.
Whether you are a brave soul looking for a spicy treat, or the rest of you that can only handle the mildest of tastes, this is the place to be on October 10th and 11th. Expect to taste the best Chili around - enjoy some entertainment and spend some quality time with the family!!
This is the largest single fundraiser in St. Lucie County and 100% of the funds raised during this event benefit the CASTLE (Child Abuse Service, Training, and Life Enrichment) for the prevention of child abuse across the Treasure Coast.
So, come one, come all to the "Greatest Show on Earth" and be part of helping prevent Child Abuse and Neglect across the Treasure Coast.
For more information or to have your business participate please call the Chili Cook-Off Hotline at (772) 971-2653 or visit their website http://fpchilicookoff.com.
