Today has been a happy but sad day. Happy that I am alive and sad because today (9) years ago My fair lady went on to be with the Lord. Her name was Mother Bernett Mechanic she departed this life on 7/1/99 and my life changed drastically. I'm positive my walk with God was made stronger. I learned how to lean and depend on him. I found strength I did not know I had. Through this loss, I gained a spiritual mom by the name of Lucinda Rich, Pastor or End Time Prophetic Deliverance Ministries. Just her mere presence puts a smile on my face. I thank her for praying for myself and my girls.
My mother was the kind of person that would make a bad day feel good. If you were sad she made you laugh, if you were mad she would help you to turn it in to a positivr outcome. She was my friend/confidant/prayer partner/traveling buddy. You name it she firt the shoes. I miss her a lot and I understand that for everything there is a season. When it is your time, God prepares us for our journey. I do believe she made it in. She lived her life so that it was pleasing in God's eye sight. She lived a life that her children would not be ashamed of nor her generations to come. I didn't say she was perfect, but she was REAL.
Those of you that have a parent living, let them know how much you appreciate them. Show them love every chance you get. Do it for me if not for yourself. I would greatly appreciate it. I just know that I will always love MY FAIR LADY Mother Bernett Mechanic of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
If and when you read this letter, please leave me a comment. Let me know if this letter has helped in any way. That it has encouraged you to show some love to someone even after your loved one has gone. It makes my day to help somenone. Try it, you'll like it.
Lovingly and sadly submittted
