Keith & Monica Mallow, owners of Collector's Comics in Fort Pierce along with Pastor Kurt Owen of The Victory Word Church in Fort Pierce, started a program called "Heroes for Heroes" in March of 2006.

Little did we suspect, that when we started this, that it would hit the internet with such force, that many people throughout the country would rally to the support of our soldiers with huge comic book donations!

On November 8th, we received a 59,071 comic book donation from Chris & Shirley Lord of Texas!

These wonderful people have not only made this huge donation, but they have promised thousands more at the beginning of next year! They have also convinced many others to contribute.

Our original target was 10,000 books, which we thought was going to be difficult. By this time next week, we will have received over 100,000 comics being sent to our beloved troops in Iraq & Afghanistan!

We thank you all for your support! Our soldiers deserve all our love & respect and need to know that they are constantly in our hearts!

We will continue Heroes for Heroes as long as our soldiers are over there!
