Third Annual "Paradise Lost" Reunion

On St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2007, over 90 old friends got together and reminisced about their "Paradise Lost". In 2004, hurricanes Frances and Jeanne destroyed not only a mobile home park, but a wonderful way of life. Causeway Mobile Home Park had been the home, entertainment center, fishing base, and beloved location of all who lived there.

That total destruction forced the residents to find other homes. Most have remained in the Ft. Pierce area and have maintained the close relationships that were formed at Causeway.

Again this year, Kate Hardy, the former Manager at Causeway made her ranch home available for a reunion of all former residents. It was a time for old friends to gather, eat, dance to the music of Jerry McLean's Causeway Band and to enjoy each other's friendship as we once did at our Causeway Mobile Home Park.
