Park at the Community and Manatee Centers on Indian River Drive, and you'll be short walk or trolley ride to the Farmers' Market on Melody Lane and the Fort Pierce Jazz and Blues Society craft market on Indian River Drive.
This year, the Farmers' Market celebrates 11 years of operation. On January 26, the inspiring Avenue D Boys Choir helped kick off the 11 th year by playing to an enthusiastic audience. Pastor Dr. Earl Hendricks and his wife, Mary, have recruited and trained 30 young boys, ages 6 to 20, from all over St. Lucie County to provide them with an opportunity to learn important core values , ways of coping and making good decisions. The goal is for the choir to be culturally diverse and 100 strong. The group was named the Avenue D Boys Choir to try to change the poor image of Avenue D in Ft. Pierce to a more positive image.
Come to the Saturday Farmers' Market. It's a Saturday Morning Tradition.
