Congratulations to Matthew Chaucey Mays, senior at St. Lucie West High School and James Davis, senior at Vero Beach High School. On April 5th these young men were awarded $1000.00 scholarships by the Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society. Matthew, a trombone player, plans to attend IRCC and James, a guitar player, plans to attend Full Sail School in Orlando. The scholarships were presented at the Thursday night Jazz Jam in the Fort Pierce Community Center, 600 Indian River Drive.
