Seminole Club Awards Student Scholarships

The Treasure Coast Seminole Club awarded four (4) $1,000.00 cash scholarships to local high school students who are attending Florida State University in the Fall of 2006. The recipients were Evan Michael Dillman and Kristen Anne Trabulsy of John Carroll High School, Emily Kathryn Norris of Lincoln Park Academy, and Rachel Elizabeth Rowan of Fort Pierce Westwood High School.

The Treasure Coast SeminoleClub is a service organization that focuses on programs and activities that foster goodwill towards Florida State University. The Club is comprised of FSU friends, fans and alumni. The Club maintains a Tomahawk status with the Seminole Boosters, Inc., and was recognized as the 2004 and 2005 "Club of the Year" by the Florida State University Alumni Association.
Besides promoting Florida State University, the Club also supports many local charities and non-profit origanizations. Among the deserving programs are Alzheimer's Community Care, Exchange Club CASTLE, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Fort Pierce Main Street, "Hook a Kid on Golf", and Congressional Medal Awards. In its fifth year, the Treasure Coast Seminole Club has raised over $36,000.00 for student scholarships and charities.
