During President Bush's recent visit to U S Coast Guard Station Miami, Sebastian residents Gary and Terry Barth and Ft. Pierce residents Janee and Jerry Henderson were invited to represent the U S Coast Guard Auxiliary. The Barth's and Henderson's are members of U S Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 5-8 in Ft. Pierce. The main purpose of the U S Coast Guard Auxiliary is to support the mission of the U S Coast Guard and Boating Safety for the general public. Anyone interested in learning more about boating safety can contact Flotilla 5-8 at 772-465-8128. The next Boating Safety class will start on September 6, 2006.

Thank you Mr. Barth! I took the boating safety course in PB County many years ago. The CG Auxillary does a tremendous job! Keep up the good work.
