Past Commanders awarded by American Legion

At every organization there are some long standing members that is always around to lend a hand. Charles O. Hines American Legion Post is no different. We have two past commanders( Frank Hines Jr. and Jim Williams) whose combine time is almost seventy years of Service to the American Legion. While their steps may be getting shorter their hearts is beating stronger, and their belief in the greatness of American is always on display when you talk or see them. As Commander (Henry Clayton) I depend on them very much because they are always willing to extend a hand to get the job. So this year they will get their Gold Past Commander Card. As well as a hardy thank from all of their Comrades at American Legion Post 171. So if you see them give them a hand shake and a thank you. They earned it.
