Military Boat Models Exhibit

On Display at Maritime Museum

The Maritime & Yachting Museum of Florida is introducing a series of boat models and maritime photographs through three gallery events displaying maritime history.

Military Vessels On View is the first exhibit coordinated from the Maritime Museum's collection.The Opening Preview Party is Sunday, November 16 th from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Seagreen Cottage Gallery at the Maritime Museum located at 3250 So. Kanner Hwy. in Stuart.

Ten master crafted boat models will be on display to tell the military marine advancements of the 20 th century.

The exhibit will be available Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.It is free to museum members, veterans, military members and their families.

Parking for the preview reception is at Martin County High School with a shuttle provided to the Maritime Museum.During the seven-week exhibit, guests may use off-street parking at the museum.The exhibit closes on January 4, 2009.
