The Classy Red Foxes had an "Easter" get-together at Vice Queen Sidney Weber's home on March 18, 2008 at 11:30am. Attending were: Queen Judy Wolgast, VQ Sidney Weber, Doris Ryan, Diane Stewart, Margie Martinez, Carol Vicaro, Carol Lawton, Bettie Burson, Sandy MacNeil, Darlene Enzian and invited guests Florence Jones and Eileen Barrett from the Treasure Coast Queens Council.
Each person was asked to bring a brown bag lunch and they served Easter related accompaniments. Dessert, wine, punch and coffee was also served.
Doris Ryan instructed us on decopaging Easter eggs made out of Styrofoam, covered with colorful napkins and then coated in glitter. Then we attached a ribbon either for decoration or so that you could hang your egg. They were all so pretty! I never knew women could be so quiet as they were while they were making their eggs.
We each grabbed a colored plastic egg with a special surprise in one of the eggs. That person received a special Easter arrangement made by Sandi MacNeil. The winner was Carol Vicaro.
Then the 2nd Easter arrangement was awarded to Diane Stewart. There was an Easter seal under her chair.
We all had a wonderful time!!
