Treasure Coast Birthday Bash 2008

Treasure Coast Red Hat Chapters got together at the Vero Beach Elks to celebrate the 10th Birthday of the Red Hat Society. Chapters attending were: Beach Babes, Bodacious Babes, Capella Rosa, Classy Lassies, Cherry Charmers, Dazzling Dames in Red, Fabulous Floozies, Foxy Red Hatters, Friends to the End, Frilly Red Hatters, Hurricane Hatters, Jazzy Red Hat Divas, Les Femme En Rouge, Lovely Lakewood Ladies, Lucie Goosies, Pampered Pack of Peacocks, Pizazzy Pineapples, Purple Foxes of SLCCV, Purple Passion Ladies, Purple Passions of Hutchinson Island, Ravishing Red Snow Birds, Red Hat Divas, Red Hat Mamas of Vista Royale, Red Hat Mommas, Red Hat Tomatoes, Red Hattitudes of PLV, Red Hot Visors of SLW, Red Hot Flashers, St. Lucie Red Hat Belles, Scarlet Divas, Super Serendipities, Treasure Coast Ruby Red Jewels and We're Still Red Hat Mamas.

Each chapter checked -in and donated a door prize. At the check-in table were Donna Black, Queen of Scarlett Divas and Kristine Loessin, Vice Queen of Pampered Pack of Peacocks. Small calculators were given to each attendee.

There were 203 Red Hatters in attendance in their red hat regalia. What a site it was when you entered the room, and it was filled with Red and Purple. Each table had a cluster of Red and Purple Balloons. In the center of the room was a HUGE Birthday Cake (the kind you can't eat!). Our Mistress of Ceremonies was Shirley Doney, Queen of Friends to the End. Jean Jane Althoff, Queen of Pizazzy Pineapples, Florence Jones, Queen of Dazzling Dames in Red and Angel Decker, Vice Queen of Dazzling Dames in Red sold Red Hat Split tickets. Eileen Barrett, Queen of the Lucie Goosies and Lucille Petruzelli, a member of the Lucie Goosies, took pictures of the affair.

Marie Clancy catered our Luncheon. Lunch consisted of Roast Pork, Garden Salad, Twice Baked Potatoes; Rum glazed baby carrots, and Birthday cake. There was a Cash Bar available for those that were really celebrating!!!

There were four Red Hat Vendors for our favorite sport - shopping! The Vendors were Shirley Doney from Friends to the End, Cynthia Willis from the Red Hat Tomatoes, Ann McCormick from Pizazzy Pineapples and Chaya Katz from the Red Hot Flashes of Boynton Beach.

Our Entertainment was Jerry the Singing DJ and the Dolls. There were great!!

Our Red Hat Split winner(s) were: Jean Culleton of the Frilly Red Hatters - $100, Marilyn Stewart, Queen of the Hurricane Hatters - $100, Almeda Hermreck of the Beach Babes - $100, and Lorraine Wiseman of the Bodacious Babes - $50.
