If you can read, you can recycle
The Downtown Farmers' Market of Fort Pierce welcomes a new addition to the Market: the black recycle bins. Cans and bottles go in one side; paper goes in the other side. Supplied by the City of Fort Pierce, the cans are boldly lettered in white on the top and on the sides. Ordinary trash cans are blue. If you can read, you can recycle. These are located in several places around Marina Square, the farmers' Market venue.
The Downtown Farmers Market of Fort Pierce is held every Saturday from 8 AM to Noon, at the waterfront, on Melody Lane, between the Library and the Marina. Patron parking is located at the library and city parking lots, and the community and manatee centers along Indian River Drive, as well as behind city hall in the new garage.
Help the planet and our city by recycling. Help you and your family by purchasing fresh and healthy foods at the Farmers' Markets. Visit the Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers' Market....
It's a Saturday Morning Tradition.
