FORT PIERCE - Since many residents still have questions about mandatory water restrictions that have been placed on the Treasure Coast, St. Lucie County's Media Relations staff created a 25-minute program to discuss these regulations and ways to conserve water.
With the help of representatives from St. Lucie County Utilities, the City of Port St. Lucie Utilities and Fort Pierce Utilities Authority, the Media Relations staff produced a new show: "In-Depth Conversation." St. Lucie County Public Information Officer Erick Gill hosts the program and talks with area utilities managers about water restrictions, enforcement of these restrictions and ways to conserve water.
"In-Depth Conservation" airs on SLCTV (Comcast 21) at various times, particularly before and after St. Lucie County Board of County Commission Meetings. The program is also available on the county's Video on Demand website at
www.stlucieco.gov/slctv. "In-Depth Conversation" is also being shared with government access channels in the cities of Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie.
The show's featured panel of guests includes: Lisa Earl with St. Lucie County Utilities, Donna Rhoden with the City of Port St. Lucie Utilities and Camille Yates with Fort Pierce Utilities Authority. The panel answers the most commonly asked questions about water restrictions, as well as providing information about enforcement and conservation.
