FORT PIERCE - Teens are invited to attend a program covering a wide variety of money-related topics on Thursday, Aug. 7 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Fort Pierce Branch Library.
Presented by Carol Alberts with the St. Lucie County Cooperative Extension Office, "Money Basic for Teens" is a free seminar that teaches teenagers how to become better prepared for college and/or a job. Learn about safe methods of establishing credit, savings and checking accounts, the difference between a credit card and a debt card, how to write a check and balance a checkbook, and how the library can save you money.
