HUTCHINSON ISLAND - Beginning Friday, Aug. 15, the restroom building at Waveland Beach on South Hutchinson Island will be temporarily closed for four weeks for repairs.

During this closure, two temporary restroom facilities, including one ADA compliant port-o-let, will be placed at the beach access.

St. Lucie County's Parks and Recreation staff will be repairing the roof, as well as replacing and repairing plumbing fixtures and painting the building during this temporary closure.
