NORTH HUTCHINSON ISLAND - The main restrooms at Pepper Park Beach Park are temporarily closed due to a small electrical fire that took place in a circuit breaker outside the structure.

St. Lucie County Parks and Recreation's staff is working to make repairs and reopen the restrooms later this week. There are additional restrooms located on the northern end of the park near the basketball and tennis courts.

Comprised for 52 acres, Pepper Park Beach Park is located at 3302 North A1A, North Hutchinson Island and features picnic tables, pavilions, tennis courts, a softball field, a basketball court, a volleyball court, playground equipment, boardwalk access to the beach, showers and restrooms.
