FORT PIERCE - The Fort Pierce Branch Library will close to the general public early on Wednesday, Oct. 1 due to former President Bill Clinton's visit to Downtown Fort Pierce.
The library will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, as former President Clinton is expected to speak along the waterfront in downtown Fort Pierce at 2:45 p.m. in support of Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama. The event is free, but people are encouraged to make reservations at
www.fl.barackobama.com.
The library staff will perform routine maintenance and re-stock shelves during Wednesday's closure. The Fort Pierce Branch of the St. Lucie County Library System is located at 101 Melody Lane.
