ST. LUCIE COUNTY OFFICIALS MEET PRESIDENT CLINTON

Just moments before his speech in Downtown Fort Pierce, several elected officials from the City of Fort Pierce and St. Lucie County had the chance to talk to and shake hands with formerPresident Bill Clinton.

President Clinton was in downtown Fort Pierce on Oct. 1 to rally support for Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama.

County Commissioners Joe Smith, Chris Craft, Charles Grande and Doug Coward had the chance to briefly talk with President Clinton.

Fort Pierce Mayor Bob Benton even gave President Clinton a key to the city.

An estimated 8,000 people showed up in downtown Fort Pierce to hear Clinton speak.
