FORT PIERCE - The St. Lucie County International Airport is gearing up for its annual Airport Day, which is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Come experience Airport Day festivities either before or after the National Navy-UDT SEAL Museum's Annual Muster event also happening on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Airport Day is a family-friendly aviation community event that gives the public the opportunity to learn about the various careers, opportunities and the many services that aviation and the St. Lucie County International Airport offers. Over the years this event has grown and is now being held at the Missionary Flight International Hangar off Hammond Road at 3170 Airmans Drive.

Students will have the chance to interact with pilots, flight school and college representatives, mechanics and other professionals in the aviation field. Guests can experience old, new and unusual aircraft that will be on display.

Additionally, the EAA Young Eagles will be offering free flights for ages 8-17. For more details or to sign up for a free flight call (772) 489-7776.

Airport Day is free; however, donations will be accepted to benefit C.A.S.T.L.E. - Child Abuse Services, Training and Life Enrichment.

The St. Lucie County International Airport is located at 3000 Curtis King Blvd., Fort Pierce. For more information about becoming an exhibitor call (772) 462-1732 or visit: www.stlucieco.gov/airport.
