Heathcote Botanical Gardens asks the community to "Name That Gator!" 
     Heathcote Botanical Gardens has a new “resident” in the garden! A group of Garden CoHorts, Heathcote’s name for volunteers, recently created a great topiary out of sphagnum moss. The volunteers, led by Lillian Aguillar, stuffed and crafted this big ol’ critter. However, he needs a name! 
    Help us Name That Gator by sending your ideas and suggestions to info@heathcotebotanicalgardens.org. Winners will be announced on Friday, February 17, 2006! 
    Winner will receive a one year family membership to the Gardens! 

Heathcote Botanical Gardens is located at 210 Savannah Road in Ft. Pierce (two blocks east of U.S. #1 between Edwards Road and Virgnia Avenue)

    Tuesday – Saturday: 9 AM – 5 PM 
    Sunday: 1 PM – 5 PM
