Riverside National Bank donated $1,000 to Sammy's Landing.
Sammy's Landing opened this year and is part of an organization called M.I.S.S. (Mothers and Infants Striving for Success). Sammy's Landing provides affordable housing to homeless women and their children from ages 6 months to 2 years. Schonna Green, Executive Director of M.I.S.S. Inc. started this organization in 1999 and was able to complete the first transitional housing in Martin County called Hope Park. Their current project, in Martin County, is called Butterfly Gardens Housing Complex and will accommodate up to 105 people.
Pat Alley, Riverside National Bank's St. Lucie County President said, "Riverside is proud to be able to help Sammy's Landing knowing these funds will touch and help many lives."
