The Boys & Girls Club of St. Lucie County in partnership with Outback Steakhouse will be hosting the 2009 Steak & Stake; a dinner that allows you to enjoy a delicious steak dinner while taking a stake in a child's life. The event will be held September 9th, 2009 at Tradition Town Hall beginning at 5:30.

Event Co-Chairs, Jean Larsen and Bill Blazak, along with their dedicated committee, are busy planning a spectacular "Evening with the Stars" complete with delicious steak dinner, provided by Outback Steakhouse, fabulous live and silent auction, Keynote Speaker Ken Pruitt, and entertainment by Boys & Girls Club members.

"Our partnership with Outback Steakhouse is a win/win for our Club and our kids. The Steak & Stake Dinner, sponsored by Outback, is a very successful fundraiser for our Club. It's also the one event where the kids are the 'stars'. The children enjoy the experience of sitting at the table with community leaders and trying out their new etiquette skills and table manners.
