On August 15, 2009, the Sunrise Theatre doors opened to make way for the 16th Annual Reverse Raffle, Live & Silent Auction. Main Street Fort Pierce was excited to bring this popular event back into downtown Fort Pierce. This year's theme was "Showdown at the Sunrise" and the crowd came out in their best western attire.
The Sunrise Theatre doors opened at 6:00 pm with registration, and the silent auction. At 7:30 pm Storm Rider, sponsored by the Long Branch Saloon, took the Sunrise Theatre Stage with country music and dancing, taking a break at 8:15 pm for the Live Auction.
The highlight of the event was the Reverse Raffle which started at 7:30 pm counting down the numbers to the grand prize winner.
The Grand Prize winner was: Cara Perry.
