United Way of St. Lucie County will hold its Founders Branding Gala on Friday, January 30
th, beginning at 6:30pm at the new Port St. Lucie Civic Center. All proceeds from the celebration will go into the general campaign fund to help support local programs.
"We're hoping to make this year's event even better than last year's", said United Way Board Member Christie Briggs-Goldson, who is also serving as the Event Chair. "We'll be encouraging everyone to LIVE UNITED while enjoying fun activities to help raise much needed funds for our partner programs and services."
This country/western themed event will have live music, dinner, must-have auction items, casino gaming, and other fun activities. A committee of dedicated volunteers is already hard at work on the event logistics and obtaining sponsorship and donated items for auctions.
"We're looking for sponsorship support from local companies as well as large ticket items such as sporting tickets, weekend getaways, and electronics for the auction" added Briggs-Goldson. "The contributions we get from sponsors and auction donors will really help us raise as much money as possible!"
