KID's DAY at the Farmers' Market

On Saturday, October 27th the Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers' Market held its first KID's DAY with adorable little bird houses for the kids to paint, bubbles given out, and sidewalk chalk contests. You will see from the attached pictures that all the kids had a lot of fun and did a great job painting their birdhouses! The parents seemed to have as much fun watching as the kids had painting.

The finished birdhouses were so colorful and creative with solids, stripes, spots and everything else a kid's imagination could come up with. They were absolutely adorable!

This was the first time the market has held this event, but from the response, it promises to happen again real soon with another fun-loving, creative activity. Thanks to our volunteers - Ruby Combs and Dakota Rogers - for all their help with the event. Watch our website for future dates: www.ftpiercefarmersmarket.com.

The market had a very successful summer with this being the third summer remaining open year-round and is in full swing now with many of the fall vendors and patrons having already returned. Come to the Market! It's a Saturday Morning Tradition! For information call (772) 940-1145.

This is such a great place to shop or just walk around on a saterday morning. Bobby and every one at the market are just so heplful and pleasent to be around.Kodo's to all that are involved with this family friendly place.

Great story with fun photos of a neat activity Bobbi! The Ft. Pierce Farmers' Market is a beautiful slice of life. It combines the vendors, the music, the view, and the spirited individuals of our community.

The Farmers' Market is a great place for kids on Saturday morning, but this event made it memorable. With the advent of the holidays, the Downtown Farmers' Market of Fort Pierce will be a great place to shop for the holidays.
