Thank you to all of the residents of the Treasure Coast who participated either by walking, virtual walking or donating to the 7th Annual West Palm Beach Walk Now For Autism. The walk which was held March 2, 2008 in West Palm Beach raised over $250,000!
Due to the overwhelming participation from theTreasure Coast (Martin, St Lucie and Indian River Counties) we have been given the honor of hosting the 1st Annual Walk Now for Autism of theTreasure Coast. The walk is scheduled for February 21, 2009 at Jensen Beach High School in Jensen Beach.
We are hoping that this walk will not only generate vital funds for autism research but also raise awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.
