FORT PIERCE - The Treasure Coast Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America will present a "Hear-o-ween" event on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fort Pierce Branch Library.
Calling all those (young, middle aged and old) with hearing aids: The Treasure Coast Chapter of Hearing Loss Association of America invites youto take part in a short survey of hearing aid wearers (and those who unfortunately have them on the "shelf"), and compete for the "best ugly hearing aid" and "prettiest hearing aid" contest. Guests are invited to wear a costume, if you like. There will also be a "best costume" prize.
Sponsored by the library, the meeting is designed to show that hearing aids are a functional tool for living and can make such a difference in life. Benefits of hearing aids will be discussed, stories of hearing aid wearers will be shared, and many varieties shown.
