Join Us to Help Stamp Out Hunger!

Volunteers on Saturday, May 9th, 2009 for the National Letter Carriers' Food Drive for 3 hour shifts from Noon to 6:00 PM at sites throughout Martin and St. Lucie counties.

Volunteers are needed to:

* Collect donated food at designated post office sites
* Help load the food onto the trucks at the site

Volunteers will be provided with FREE refreshments and snacks.

All of food collected will be distributed throughout the Treasure Coast Food Bank's network of over 150 partner agencies that include food pantries, soup kitchens, daycare centers, senior homes, shelters for abused kids, and many more.

Nearly 50% of this food will go towards feeding children at risk of hunger.

Attention H.S. Students! This Food Drive is a great opportunity to get volunteer service hours & help your community!

Business, civic and religious organizations are welcomed to volunteer as a group. Children 12 and older may participate.
