FORT PIERCE - Break out your favorite Hawaiian shirt and head over to the Savannas Recreation Area on Midway Road for the "Lillypad Luau" Friday, March 16 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

This free event will feature games, prizes and light refreshments for everyone in the family. Contests include loudest shirt, best lei, longest hula and more.

Located at 1400 E. Midway Road in Fort Pierce, the Savannas is a 550-acre site featuring five distinct biological communities including wet prairies, pine flatwoods, scrub areas and more. Operated by the St. Lucie County Parks & Recreation Department, the park is open seven days a week for overnight camping, RVs, hiking, fishing, bird watching and kayak/canoe rentals.
