INSHORE -
The inshore fishing has been steady with the most action coming from snapper, black drum and sheepshead when you were fishing along the channel edges. All of these fish have been taking live shrimp. The next best bite has been from the trout that are around the grass flats to the north of Torpy Road and in 2 to 4 feet of water. Try a top water bait or the old stand by -- a live shrimp fished under a popping cork. The catch and release snook action has slowed but, a few big fish were reported along the lighted docks in the Ft. Pierce Inlet. All of the snook were caught on live baits. Fishearly and remember to watch out for the afternoon storms.
OFFSHORE -
There is not a lot to report this week because of the tropical weather conditions that have the ocean conditions almost unfishable. The few boats that tried to fish did not stay out long and reported no action at all. Hopefully the fishing conditions will improve next week after the effects of Hurricane Bill passes by.
JUNIOR TEEN ANGLERS -
