Last year, Ft. Pierce Police Officer Eric-Pierre Jerome passed away at the young age of 40, leaving behind his wife and 3 young girls. In an effort to keep the girls enrolled in their current private school and to ensure these children will have the money to attend college, Scott Van Duzer, owner of Big Apple Pizza, and other close friends have create the Pierre-Jerome Childrens Scholarship Fund.

A memorial golf tournament will take place on Saturday, August 25 th at St. James Country Club. All proceeds will go to the scholarship fund for the young children who not only lost their father, but also suffered a tough financial hit by losing the main source of income for their family.

The entry fee is $100 for an individual or $400 for a foursome. There are also sponsorship opportunities for this great cause. A Hole Sponsor, for $1,000, will receive 1 foursome in the tournament ($400 value), 50 raffle tickets ($100 value) your name or company logo on sign located at tee box, and 1 30-minute lesson from Mike Adams, nationally recognized as one of the Top 50 Golf Instructors in the world by Golf Magazine.

An Eagle Sponsor ($1,500) will receive 2 foursomes in the event ($800 value) 100 raffle tickets ($100 value) and 2 30-minute lesson from Mike Adams.

A Hole-in-One Title Sponsor ($2,000) will receive 4 foursomes in the event ($1,600 value), 200 raffle tickets ($400 value), 4 30-minute lessons from Mike Adams, and your business or company logo incorporated into the name of the event.
