FORT PIERCE - The Fort Pierce Branch Library will host two new installments of the Interactive Nature Series with Captain and Audubon Warden Chop Legé for September.
Sponsored by the Marine Resources Council and the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District, these monthly programs are free and open to everyone.
· Thursday, Sept. 11 at 3 p.m. at the Fort Pierce Branch Library: "Creatures of the Lagoon."
· Friday, Sept. 12 at 1:30 p.m.:"Walk and Talk" tour of Bear Point Sanctuary, 2601 South Ocean Drive, Fort Pierce (South Hutchinson Island). Participants will need to meet the captain at the gates of the park, located on the west side of A1A.
· Thursday, Sept. 25 at 3 p.m. at the Fort Pierce Branch Library: "Florida Outdoors."
· Friday, Sept. 26 at 1:30 p.m.: "Walk and Talk" tour at Vitolo Family Park, 3701 South Ocean Drive. Participants will need to meet the captain at the gates of the park, located on the west side of A1A on South Hutchinson Island.
