PORT ST. LUCIE - The Oxbow Eco-Center has space available for Saturday's kayak/canoe trip down the North Fork of the St. Lucie River.

These guided kayak/canoe trips are held on the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. Launching from White City Park, the two-and-half-hour trip takes paddlers up and down the North Fork to a dock on the backside of the Oxbow's property.

The cost to participate is $15 per person, which includes kayak, paddle and lifejacket. Ages 5-7 are free. Participants must RSVP by calling (772) 785-5833.
