Bittersweet Determination

I took this photograph at the south end of Jenkins Road before you get to Orange Avenue in Fort Pierce. This area is undergoing expansion and growth with the addition of new homes. Even though a large section of trees (you can still see the stumps) and underbrush has been cleared, this little sunflower is determined to stand proud... bittersweet determination!
