The old Governor's Grill has been taken over and turned into a sports bar named Alumni's International Grill. I stopped buy there by accident last weekend while walking around downtown Fort Pierce. What a change!!!!! The food was great. Bar food(Burgers, Chicken Wings, Calamari, Grouper and Chicken sandwiches) reasonably priced. Great atmosphere for the college football games that were on the some 15 T.V.'s. I think they had just about every game playing. The location is great. 122 N 2nd Street, right down the street from the Court House and around the corner from the Tiki Bar. The service was good too. This will definitely be the place to watch all my games. After talking with the manager I found out that the new owners have only been in there for about a month, but have made some significant changes to the establishement and especially the food. They will be airing all the college games and the NFL ticket this football season. Every Wednesday Night is ladies night from 9 -Midnight with a DJ, drink specials, contests and prizes for the ladies. It is also the center spot for bike night every Thursday night. This would be a great choice for all, especially families looking for a nice dining atmosphere and not a high price tag. The average meal on the menu was like $7-8. Downtown Fort Pierce was in dire need of an establishment like this. I will definitely be taking my friends back to this place, especially on game day. Thank you Alumni's!!!
